In the area of 2000 sq ft, the gallery “Mirror, the reflecting surface” housed 42 exhibits. It took 6 to 7 months of real hard work of a team of technical persons to give shape to the gallery. Each exhibit uses the principle of reflection. The gallery started with multiple reflections and ended with multiple reflections. With the help of multiple reflections attempt has been made to create a mountain trench of 60 ft deep, an well of 40ft deep or a plantation field even  Minakshi temple premises of 50 ft diameter or a  underground tunnel, generally used by underground metros, and kaleidoscope to walk in .

Besides these, some mirrors are there, which looks like a looking mirror but the combination gives different approach and force someone to question how and why. Stand in front of a  mirror, which will create ten heads of yours, or   a mirror which will vanish your image, or  a mirror which will give your image parallel to the ground not vertical unlike we see in our looking mirror or a  mirror, which will increase your image one by one, and  a mirror   which exactly imitate you. Means if you lift your left hand the image will lift its left hand not the right hand, what generally we see in a looking mirror. Or a mirror which will not cast your image but your friend’s, who is standing in front of another mirror and vice versa.

 Besides these video on how a glass mirror is there for the visitors to look at and explore. Video on different glass work received from Corning Museum of Glass USA is also on display. Video of making of Arnamula kannadi, Kerala’s legacy for world renowned technology of unique metal mirrors is also there for the visitors to look at.    

Mirror Gallery without Bhulbhulayan and fun mirror is incomplete. Hence there is a Bhulbhulyan and fun mirror also.
