Waste to Art Competition
National Council of Science Museums inviting all to join Waste to Art Initiative
We are excited to announce our participation in the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign starting September 16, 2024, with a special focus on our Waste to Art initiative!
Following the success of last year’s program, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, we invite everyone to get creative and transform waste materials into unique art pieces.
How to Participate:
Create: Use waste materials at home to craft beautiful art.
Document: Take photos or videos of your creations.
Share: Send your entries to [ncsmmedia@gmail.com]
*Last date of sending the entries: 22nd October, 2024, till 12.00 Noon.
The best works will be featured on our social media platforms!

10th International Day of Yoga - 21st June 2024
The 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) was celebrated on 21st June 2024 at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai in collaboration with The Art of Living. The theme this year was ‘Yoga for Self and Society’. Two special yoga sessions were organized for Girls and Women focusing on the well-being of girls and women and for staff members of Nehru Science Centre and its satellite units. About 200 participants took the rejuvenating experience under the guidance of The Art of Living Team.

Ministry of culture organized a live musical concert by *3X Grammy awardee Ricky Kej, on 19th March 2023 at the Gateway of India. We (NSCM) were the implementing organization and NGMA was the nodal agency. The programme received tremendous response from Mumbaikars.
